I just had a thought today - It’s been two years since I built all of the Planet Armors, but I never bothered to combine them all together into the “Extra Limited Change” mode seen at the very end of Build Divers Re:Rise:
So I went ahead and finally did it.
And I even made a video too:
I think I was afraid to do the Extra Limited change because of the potential work involved. These planet armors tend to be flimsy. They’ll fall off the Core Gundam and the support craft just by looking at them weird. The thought of taking some of them off their original unit and combining them here into one filled me with dread, as I imagined a pile of parts that I’d have to (re)attach again and again to get everything straight again.
In the end it did end up being kind of a pain, particularly the Uraven armor. But by and large the cleanup wasn’t too bad. Was it worth the trouble just to get these shots? Maybe not, but at least now I can say I did it.
In other updates, the two Altron Gundams I promised to build next are complete, and I even have some photos. But there’s still more work to be done on that end, so have patience.
