I just had a thought today - It’s been two years since I built all of the Planet Armors, but I never bothered to combine them all together into the “Extra Limited Change” mode seen at the very end of Build Divers Re:Rise:

So I went ahead and finally did it.

I like the EZ-8. I’ve always liked the EZ-8. But do I like it quite as much as the Ground Type? I used to be unsure, but after finishing this build, the answer is “yes, yes I do?”

For this second batch of photos, we’re going to take a look at all the remaining weapons. And rather than keep it until the end, let’s cut to the chase and start with the sniper rifle:

Spoiler alert - the hands did not in fact hold together. They worked extremely well for a while, but at a certain point in the photoshoot the fingers started popping out again, and the sockets were so stretched that I couldn’t get them to stay any more.

Then the right arm broke clean off.

Alright, time for another update on the GM Sniper II.

The photos are coming along well enough. For the GM Sniper I have 25 shots, and for the Master Grade EZ-8 I have almost 40. In the past this would have been more than enough, but I want more. I really want to challenge myself to develop the patience and the eye needed to not only come up with cool poses, but also interesting framings of those poses.

I’m not sure when I’ll be done, but when I am I may end up splitting the photos across multiple posts.

As expected, most of the parts are the same as the Ground Type’s. All the new stuff seems to be localized to three runners: a tan one (top of the photo), a blue one (bottom right), and a grey one (far left) that has some of the inner frame as well as the bazooka:

The EZ-8 is another stone cold classic design, and since we already know that this model shares most of its parts with the Master Grade Ground Type, there’s no doubt in my mind that it’s going to be a great build.
